Devoted to Good Trouble
“Hyperdulia” refers to the special devotion accorded to the Virgin Mary in Catholic tradition. As a queer Catholic woman, I find purpose in helping noncitizens fight for dignity, protection, and freedom. I created this site to share resources for people facing immigration detention or seeking protection, and for those working alongside them. Whatever your faith, identity, or family looks like, you are welcome here.

Research and Resources→"Do not give up the ship in a storm because you cannot direct the winds."
I began this research to better understand how practitioners challenge the detention of people seeking humanitarian immigration protection. This site brings together case tracking, legal authorities, and developments involving T, U, SIJS, and VAWA protections, with particular attention to federal litigation. My hope is that it gives others a useful starting point.
Have a case that needs litigation?
If you are an attorney with a pending T, U, or VAWA matter, particularly in the Eleventh Circuit, please reach out! I am taking the February 2027 Georgia bar exam and while I can't yet take cases myself - connecting attorneys to resources so that survivors get adequate representation is so important to me.
